Closing Party of the residency produced by S.E.E.D. in Belo Horizonte, featuring the exhibition of the pieces created during the residency, with a DJ set, live visuals, and installations.
We are glad to announce the first S.E.E.D’s activity in Minas Gerais (BR): an art residency that will take place in Belo Horizonte from October 30 to November 3.
One of the most populated towns in Brazil, Belo Horizonte is the capital of the state of Minas Gerais and a place known for its strong, plural and effervescent cultural scene. The city is a spot for art, music, theater and gastronomy, offering a variety of cultural spaces ranging from theaters and museums to underground night activities, also having a strong urban art scene, with graffiti and murals adorning its streets. By breaking away from the SP-RJ axis and bringing together local talents and our residents, the goal is to promote a multidisciplinary collaboration environment, exploring different formats of media and art, thereby contributing to the support of independent artists through ZORA.
Our first art residency took place in São Paulo in collaboration with BOSQUE GRACIAS and had more than 30 artists, 100 pieces and +4k mints on ZORA. By minting the supportive token and the upcoming pieces you help our Brazilian artistic community to grow and support new artists on the platform, highlighting Web3 methods in a very creative scene.
Aftermovie of the residency in collaboration between the Brazilian collective SEED and the Argentine collective Bosque Gracias, in which more than 30 artists spent 4 days creating together, producing over 100 works in a collaborative collection on Zora, with more than 3,000 mints. ____ 𝐒.𝐄.𝐄.𝐃. In this edition of CYBERIA by S.E.E.D., we will celebrate the epilogue of the residency with the Argentine collective Bosque Gracias, showcasing the aftermovie of the project, as well as installations featuring digital and physical pieces produced during the residency, which took place in July this year. It will also serve as an afterparty for @nftbrasil, which happens one day before CYBERIA.
We are excited to announce an upcoming artistic residency in São Paulo, a colaboration between S.E.E.D. (BR) and BosqueGracias (ARG).
This joint residency will combine the ideals and goals from both BosqueGracias and S.E.E.D. We will transition through narrative techniques, fabulation and post-cinema, evoking perspectives and decentralized bodies and senses. This collaboration will favor the creation of imagetic hyperlinks manifested across earthly, exploring interdimensional planes and expanding itself from micro to macro levels. Our shared goals include fostering tentacular and nonspecific experiences, discussing limits, collective spaces, and forms of language. Together, we seek to empower artists, explore new territories of artistic expression and create a dynamic space for innovation and collaboration.
This residency in São Paulo aims to bridge the gap between nature and urban settings, merging the regenerative ideals of BosqueGracias with the avant-garde vision of S.E.E.D., ultimately crafting a unique and transformative artistic journey.

Spaced labyrinth, proliferated with grotesque creatures, captured by a lens suspended at a high-angle shot, fused within the very eyeball of the creature that gathers and watches the defendant: Dr. Lollipop.
Inhabited in a living and mobile laboratory. Fusing within a thousand organisms and viscous structures, condensed by itself. The creatures created, without any breath or end. In an intertwining of flesh and bytes, where wires cover its condemned and sublime corporeal score. Viscous, disgusting. A vast suspended creature.
Attention!
Dr. Lollipop presents: — Within a hybrid space, the body is my vehicle for tangible experiences and sensations, but it's also the anchor that keeps me rooted in reality. Technological tension apparatuses articulate within me like extensions, amplifying my voice and my presence. Through this, I connect with other avatars, many of whom are distant, sharing histories and forging bonds of survival.
His physical shell is his laboratory, a silent witness to the vicissitudes of the third world. Inside, his aqueous being, rediscovers and entangles itself in an amplified, omnipresent heterotopia, without a specific form. Expressed in a virtualized context, where each unborn creature is invented, and manifested from sensors and personas. Like a grand absolute spectrum of chaos, where multiple contexts alter and give life to multiple formatting avatars, that format in themselves their own fantasy, reality, and fiction. These avatars relate and traverse real, virtual, and parallel ecosystems; generating movements, cultures, and subcultures. Manifesting artistically through their own spectra, languages, and intercession threads.
Experiment manifest not just as an abstract intellectual exercise, but as an expositional and direct affectation of the ocular globe, reinventing and underlying its own factual notions of identity and reality. It's in imagination that the experiment finds itself in the speculative aspect; tracing a correlation between 'mind' and 'world', developing a way of thinking about the thing in itself. A possible gap is then created that elaborates about the absolute; a potentially absorbed, sandy and infinite place. It's possible to think about the absolute. The absolute is thinkable, but the absolute is chaos. The absolute is contingency. The absolute is an open place to infinite possibilities, where laws govern a becoming without law. A speculation about the reality of the world beyond human forms of perception, expresses a desire for a transcendent reality. Subjectivity traversed by multiple cosmic forces, using art as a medium to access knowledge that extends and amplifies. Prophetic idea. Expresses a fiction that colonizes aspects of science, narrative, and life, generating side effects. Dr. Lollipop, again, presents: — Each creature arises not by chance, but by convergence, in a traversed hybrid space, that transcends tangibility and anchors itself in reality through my own embodiment. Remember: in the confluence of the real and the imaginary, chaos dances with order like a ballerina star. To decipher the absolute, one must first accept the enigma of our own existence. Seek the truth in the interstices, where the threads of the visible intertwine with the vertiginous shadows of this intoxicating unknown. And never forget the side effects!

Supportive Token #2 - Zorb S.E.E.D. ZORA Collective Drop V1.0 _____ When the first image of Earth was captured from space, humanity stood at a profound crossroads.
Beyond the remarkable technical achievement, for the first time, as we beheld the magnificent sphere suspended in the vastness of space, humanity could vividly imagine what it would be like to exist outside our ecosystem and, most importantly, beyond ourselves. Gazing upon the image returned from outer space, we were deeply moved by the sight of an unimaginable infinity. No longer were there undisturbed notions of up or down, and human-made ideas or computational models could no longer confine existence to its usual places. Nature, objectified due to its uncontrollability, now more than ever, asserted its surprisingly incomprehensible force, far beyond any human creation or explanation to contain it — even though many, in denial, turned it into an artifact, keeping it available for predatory exploration.
From that point onward, rapid technological advancement enabled increasingly vast journeys both macro and microscopic, exploring the expanses of both the stars and cells. Like never before, the scales of reality varied radically. It was in this context that the perception sharpened that a considerable percentage of the so-called "human" body functions based on other beings that coexist in such corporealization. We were no longer just humans. We were, from then on, carriers and part of many worlds, within and beyond us. By the way, where was inside, where was outside? Existence is spheres within spheres, successively, without surface, without depth.
In this scenario, Dr. Lollipop emerges as an enthusiast of both macro and micro journeys. In light of these discoveries, relinquishing the hierarchical category of being human, in contrast to the achievements of sciences in the service of anthropocentrism and endless exploitation, Dr. Lollipop conceived their own body as an other-than-human laboratory. In a rebellious act, blending artistic alchemical knowledge, biomedical expertise, computational science, other beings' knowledge, and appropriating the technological devices usually used to constrain our existences, they synthesized a laboratory within their own organism, a biotechnological alien conglomerate of many creatures. Dr. Lollipop created a new sensory organ, nourished by their own heart and synthesized from their muscle fibers and the DNA of a rare carnivorous plant from polluted urban centers, whose flower adapted to resemble a hologram and attract humans from whom it feeds. They named the laboratory/organ SEED HEART.
Through makeshift machinery they invented, with prostheses attached to their body, Dr. Lollipop could holographically enter their laboratory organ, visualize and construct it within themselves, configuring it contrary to the modelings of our bodies in our system, and thus continue the manufacturing of their chimeric creations of reality.
Chimeric spheres within chimeric spheres.
One of their great endeavors is to narrate such a body transformation, not as an artifact or commodity — a condition to which Earth was subjected, reconfigured into a singular technological mesh oriented toward self-destruction — but as an open-source more-than-human intelligence, capable of metamorphosing and propagating like a virus; spreading like a virus; capable of proliferating regardless of the catastrophes orchestrated against our ecosystem, capable of infiltrating destruction to then devour its maintainers.

As part of S.E.E.D.'s initiatives for the year 2024, the collective, along with the ZORA marketplace and other invited artists/creators, present S.E.E.D.: ZORA COLLECTIVE DROP V1.0
Through S.E.E.D.: ZORA COLLECTIVE DROP V1.0, the collective proposes a first round of invention and minting of pieces from each of its 9 participants, also inviting 11 other artists/creators to join this creation movement in WEB3, with a focus primarily on the production of Brazilian artists/creators and representatives from the Global South. Unprecedented, the pieces presented in COLLECTIVE DROP V1.0 — a total of 20 pieces, from 20 participants — were specially conceived for the occasion, highlighting the specificities of the research, languages, and poetics of each of the creators.
S.E.E.D.: ZORA COLLECTIVE DROP V1.0 is a movement of the collective that aims, among its main principles, to underscore the prolific production of the group, active in WEB3 and through IRL projects since 2021, as well as to showcase and boost the production of other Brazilian/Global South artists/creators and their research. Most of the invited artists already have a significant presence in WEB3; however, they are prompted by the mobilization of S.E.E.D.: ZORA COLLECTIVE DROP V1.0 to launch their first pieces on the ZORA platform.
S.E.E.D.: ZORA COLLECTIVE DROP V1.0 is a multifaceted technological creation device, with possibilities for initiation and assembly that are unimaginably complex and surprising, changing with each attempt at connection, depending on the work proposal of each of the participants and the worlds they point towards.

Seek the truth in the interstices, where the threads of the visible intertwine with the vertiginous shadows of this intoxicating unknown.
And never forget the side effects!
Dr. Lollipop disintegrates and exits.

When the first image of Earth was captured from space, humanity stood at a profound crossroads.

S.E.E.D. ZORA COLLECTIVE DROP V1.0
