'Muzak No. 8' is my take on the classic elevator music from the 1970s, originally made popular by Muzak Holdings. This piece brings out the calm and soothing sounds often heard in elevator music, which use relaxing tropical tunes. Although some people might find this type of music boring or plain, I think it's really interesting and often not given enough attention. I want to show that this music has its own kind of beauty and isn’t just for background noise.
