Thank you sincerely from one Very O.G. Internet Person to another for being so thoughtful with your Art. It’s kept me sane & grounded knowing I’m not insane for publicly expressing how unhealthy & unethical all these apps and platforms all feel. I had a glimmer of hope with new tech and how good it felt to post and share again minus algorithms & pushing what others engage with down our throats & never having to question if my own posts would be lost in a sea of RNG popularity metrics…. I guess no one building anymore is confident enough they won’t fail without following the broken model of removing chronological real time discovery & more options…. It feels bad, no matter how you package it, building for a dumbed down audience just further creates a perpetual lazy and dumbed down world.
On that note. Thank you sincerely elle. You’re a good egg. I appreciate you and I hope you realize that your presence was impactful. I will be joining you on hiatus. Tho mine will likely be Eternal. 🫂
