Shanghai is the largest city and financial center of China. In the center of Shanghai is the famous Waitan waterfront, lined with colonial-style buildings. To the east of the Huangpu River rise the skyscrapers of the Pudong district, such as the 632-meter-high Shanghai Tower and the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, which is easily distinguishable by its pink circles.
