Video and audio using my liminal CDJing experiments, using CDJ as only source to distort and create new media possibilities.

Based on the idea of visual anthropophagy, "Remix" presents a series of graphic experiments using the hookah, an object of Indian origin that is widespread in the East and which has been appropriated and resignified in Brazil, becoming an element present in peripheral cultures, as a symbol of social communion and celebration that has taken on new characteristics as a result of this contact. In the work, a display of fusions and variations of colors, textures and edited shapes relocates the view of the common object to the space of language and amplifies the possibilities of reading these signs.

Partindo da ideia de antropofagias visuais, "Remix" apresenta uma esteira de experiências gráficas que utiliza o narguilé, objeto de origem indiana bastante difundido no Oriente e que foi apropriado e resignificado no Brasil, tornando-se um elemento presente nas culturas periféricas, como um símbolo de comunhão social e celebração que assumiu novas características a partir desse contato. Na obra, um mostruário de fusões e variações de cores, texturas e formas editadas realoca a visão sobre o objeto comum para o espaço da linguagem e amplifica as possibilidades de leitura desses signos.

post-internet and post-cinema joins to explore the possibility of the artificial media and memetics language being able to create a new sense of reality.

In the balance of the waves of memory, nature and the digital field are occasionally intertwined, a nostalgia for a less invasive internet, a virtual diary, a sanctuary of thought and desire. An internet page fossilized in memory, one that enters into its own conflict with wanting to be and what one is, but also welcoming. It paints a poetic picture of the evolving relationship between human memory and the digital world.
