When creating the next generation of IS, Lexus designers, as they say, took their souls away. They were faced with the task of making the car more aggressive than before, and the company’s specialists coped with this job. Just look at the design of the front of the sedan with its fitted radiator grille. But there are also interesting solutions in the stern, such as L-shaped lights, which can be fully LED for an additional fee.As for the interior, the IS has the same style as the LS and GS models. And some elements (the dashboard, for example) are very similar to those of the discontinued LFA supercar. But there are also less noticeable changes. In particular, the seats are installed 20 mm lower than in the previous generation of the sedan, and the car itself has increased slightly in size.The Lexus IS is built on a platform with a double-wishbone front suspension and a multi-link rear suspension. To increase comfort and improve the car's handling, engineers revised the shape of the anti-roll bar and its mounting points at the front, and at the rear they separated the springs and shock absorbers, moved the toe adjustment levers back, and moved the brake calipers forward so that they were within the wheelbase for better weight distribution.Under the hood of the Lexus IS can be installed a 2.5-liter 6-cylinder gasoline engine producing 208 hp. With. power at 6400 rpm and 250 Nm of torque at 4800 rpm, or a 3.5-liter 310-horsepower engine
