Cocoon explores the tension between fear of loneliness and desire for self-acceptance. The crouching figure embodies the fear of abandonment and the anxieties of being different. Yet, the cocoon itself becomes a symbol of empowerment. By embracing solitude, the figure has created a space for self-discovery and nurtured a sense of inner peace. The distant red light and personal treasures suggest a rich and fierce inner world, a source of fulfillment independent of external connections.
Can solitude be a source of strength rather than a weakness?

This piece challenges the traditional notion of an afterlife paradise. The title, "Elysium," evokes the mythical Greek heaven, a place of eternal bliss. However, the artwork itself serves as a reminder that true happiness and fulfillment can be found in this life, not by waiting for some future reward. 🦋
7 Seeds of Love can be considered as a research project pushing my exploration of interpersonal relationships forward. Here, I take a more objective approach to depict the journey of love through seven key lessons.
Each lesson is represented by a unique symbolic element, inspired by meaningful conversations with friends, personal research, and reflections on past experiences. These elements include: Self-love, the multifaceted nature of love, trust, the Garden, Mindfulness, Union and the Time Test.
