The image shows a classic dark-colored AC Shelby Cobra 427 sports car with an open top. The AC Shelby Cobra 427 is a two—seat British-American sports roadster. History of creation: in the late 1950s, American racing driver and engineer Carroll Shelby conceived an ambitious project - the fastest car in the world. He enlisted the support of the Ford Corporation and installed a powerful American V8 in the lightweight body of the British AC Ace roadster. 1962 specification: equipped with a 4.3-liter V8 with 260 horsepower and accelerated to "hundreds" in 5.5 seconds, reaching a maximum speed above 230 km/h. Third generation (Mk III): under the hood was a 7-liter V8 Ford 427, built for NASCAR racing. It was one of the most powerful engines of the 1960s, developing 485 horsepower in a racing configuration, and also quite impressive 410-425 hp in a civilian configuration.. Body: despite its external similarity to the AC Ace, it was seriously modified to meet increased loads and became more "muscular". This Cobra accelerated to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds. Top modification 427 S/C (Semi/Competition): the engine produced 485 forces and, in fact, it was a racing car available to everyone. Only citizens with serious training could handle the car. Production: from 1962 to 1967. 998 copies of this model were produced, of which 343 pieces are the most recognizable and legendary 427 variety.
