The visual effect of the falling star was formed by dust particles of asteroids burning up in the atmosphere.  A lunar eclipse. For example, on January 21st. The Earth's satellite changed its color before the eclipse. The eclipse was complete, due to the fact that the planet, the Sun and the Moon lined up in one line.  The blood moon occurs during lunar eclipses. This phenomenon occurs when the Earth is caught between the Sun and the Moon, creating the shadow of the Earth that falls on the surface of the Moon.
