NGC 6729, also known as Caldwell 68, is a reflection nebula located 400 light-years away in the constellation Corona Australis, making it one of the closest star-forming regions to Earth.

Imaged in the Rio Hurtado Valley, Chile, this image is the combination of 85 individual images, for a total integration time of over 14 hours.
