Dodge Viper Car A Dodge sports car. Production of the two-seater car began in 1992 at the New Mack Assembly plant. The progenitor and having common features with the Viper, both interior and exterior was the Dodge Stealth, aka Mitsubishi 3000GT, which was introduced a year earlier. By the way, the design of both early iconic models belongs to Tom Gale, who then headed the design department of Chrysler. In October 1995, production was moved to the Conner Avenue Assembly plant, where it continued until recently.
