Dewey Saunders is a visual artist based in Los Angeles working as a design director, illustrator and collage artist. Initially focused on graphic design within the music industry with a specialty in album artwork, roll outs and campaigns; Dewey expanded into advertising, fine art and editorial spaces. His work has been seen in international Ray-Ban campaigns, Anderson .Paak’s Malibu, Future’s cover for The Wizrd, Murals at Rolling Loud, Solo Exhibitions at House of Vans and Urban Outfitters, full spreads in Vanity Fair magazine and on merchandise for Ms. Lauryn Hill, Anderson .Paak and the estates of Anita Baker and Donny Hathaway. With an unique brand of tropical psychedelia and a natural curiosity for the outer and inner worlds Dewey mixes analog and digital techniques to create a unique aesthetic that feels nostalgic, contemporary and futuristic by the juxtaposition of timelines and layers of printed materials.
