This lysergic abstract landscape is inspired by the Dancing Plague, an event occurred in a town in France in 1558. Everything started when a woman began to dance fervently and uncontrollably in the street, she kept out dancing for a wee and soon other people joined her.
After a while dancers were beginning to collapse. And it is said some of them died. No one knew what caused this reaction at that time, people said the town was haunted; people were possessed by the devil.
Scientifics believe the dancing could have been brought on by food poisoning caused by ergot fungi which grows commonly on grains (such as rye) used for baking bread. Ergotamine is the main psychoactive product of ergot fungi; it is structurally related to the LSD drug and is the substance from which LSD-25 was originally synthesized. The same fungus has also been implicated in other major historical anomalies, including the Salem witch trials.
