It's a artwork that brings together elements from Brazil's indigenous Diasporas and specifically the one I'm part of ethnically, being an indigenous quilombola who grew up in the city and a non-binary person. In this work I reference my ancestors and their customs, which have come down to me through orality, but I also bring elements of our culture that have changed and that I experience differently in my generation. This work is a union, as these diasporas happened in different times and places, but they still meet because they have a common origin. My ancestors had to happen for me to happen today, so what I am is a continuation and a result of them.
