I was the most proud of this track at the time. For the piano. And I liked the cagey prepared piano percussion. To finish this track, I would redo the percussion. I would improve the progression and transitions. There's also words for this song. I recorded the words back in the day. I feel more comfortable sharing just the instrumental so you can focus on that aspect.
I like the loop, which is not even really a loop. The rest of it was not very in time so I muted it, haha. So the result is atmospheric cotton candy for a rainy night. One night.
Future Trees is somewhat jazzy with the little synth slide. Selling beats was on mind, but Future Trees did not want to sell out. They wanted to create what they wanted to create, which was not square enough nor standard.
This was near when I first learned about Odd Time Signatures through my buddy Omar! 7 has become my favorite time signature because I like the way the beat sort of rocks back and forth. I also love all the permutations you can do with 7. Zora loves 7 also 7️⃣
