It’s getting harder to wake up early and show up for my morning walks. My fingers freeze as I attempt to play music from my phone, so I end up walking in silence, listening to the first groggy thoughts of the day. Quieting my mind before submitting to my responsibilities.
It’s transformative—it changes the way I approach the day ahead. I will continue to show up, even as it gets more challenging. This way, I can savour the reward more intentionally.
I’ve been meaning to tell you. Life is treating me gracefully because I’m living it with respect. And I find many answers in sitting and observing. And I don’t feel alone anymore. And I think things work out only when they’re meant to.
