In this oil painting, I portray three people in a very meaningful situation. In the middle, we have someone with only his head, representing the stigma surrounding marijuana. In the right hand of the figure in the right corner, a small cannabis plant is sprouting, showing the incredible medicinal potential of this plant. The person on the left is lighting a joint, uniting the three in a scene of freedom. With "Smoke of Freedom" I want to talk about the criminalization of marijuana, a plant with a giant medicinal potential, and how I am facing justice to have legal access to this medicine.
