This piece is one of my early experiments in AI from 2021-2022.
Due to constraints of AI and my computer at the time the piece was limited to a base resolution of 512px square, upscaled to 3072px square.
For me the piece is a symbolic representation of planetary bodies but it could also resemble atoms.
I was particularly pleased with the coloured pencil/pastel rendering here. I also like the asymmetry of each of the bodies and lines which really lend a human feel to the whole piece.
I find that with more modern AI models this quality is lacking and they tend to favour harsh geometry for abstracts, that has its place but there is something special about this. I hope you agree:)
