SOY is the manifestation of a person breaking with the mandates and prejudices of their life. It's a process that everyone experiences at some point, each in their own way and with their own "monsters." Because it is both a universal and personal experience, we asked our audience to help us write the lyrics. Through Instagram stories, they contributed their phrases to write the RAP for the song.
It was composed, recorded, and produced in our home during the quarantine, a time of introspection that allowed us to mature this work and learn that we are capable of expressing all the sounds we imagine.
It was mastered by our friend and colleague Maxi Frini from Spain. Additionally, it featured the collaboration of independent actors who brought the "monsters" of the introduction to life with their voices.
DJ Mariano Torres also collaborated by using his vinyl records to represent the "monsters" throughout the song.
