There have been many opportunities put in front of me over the last couple of years. Conversations in rooms I would've never guessed I'd be privileged enough to attend. And in each of those moments the things that matter to me tend to resurface in my mind.
When I discovered 'web3' my intuition started screaming at me. "There is something life changing here for creatives, for the untraditional, for those with high agency."
Art3 Lotus - a play on the term web3 and my personal definition of 'art being any creation endeavor'. It felt like 'it', but it wasn't.
Then came 'hypercultures', closer but still too broad. Then the 'hyperstack', a more comprehensive illustration indeed.
Then I went on podcasts and used the opportunity to refine and stress test the thinking. Something of substance had been found but my intuition still felt a deep longing.
This month I randomly illustrated a 'hypersphere' - my personal creative circadian. And then I had a flash of insight on a better articulation of 'the spectrum'. Dominoes were in flow; leading to a graphic of 'constraints'.
When I sat in front of my figma files today to work on Zaibs I realized "holy shit I think I found all the starting puzzle pieces I needed back then."
So much work. And good work begets more good work. This is a small celebration though. From me to me.
It's only crazy until you've got something innit.

For two years this group has suffered together, improving the tech, building new toys, expanding the fundamental thesis. Might I also add, at nearly -90-95% losses on speculative investments compared to the bull. While the corpo-politico machine shat on and kicked us for ad rev whenever possible.
Now the sun is starting to shine, experience has been gained, fun is being had. Sure, there are sore winners and losers like any sporting event. But it continues to amaze me how fickle the human psyche can be when funneled into third-party content algorithms.

Moving beyond them - for fear of confusing what I want to discuss now with my recognition of them - I used to deal with a lot of envy towards the specialist types.
One of my dearest friends is an aerospace engineer. He is so damn locked in on doing his one or two things to their peak. Then I think of my travels throughout Japan, and the gap in excellence when comparing service workers. The precision. The quest to shave off fractions of percentages. I longed to find my 'thing'. Feared being labeled a 'master of none'.
That fear is no longer present. That longing has found its proper function. The rest of the realization is for me alone.

Think of a circle almost fully looped. In the manner of a horseshoe, but much less distance between ends closing on each other.
Clockwise or counter-clockwise makes no difference in the model. Just that you start at one point and 'walk' the circumference to the other end.
You end near your starting point. And in the common use of this model, it's used to illustrate the similarities between 'opposing' positions. But I like it for personal understandings.
There are a couple nuances to this variant of the model:
1. You factor in what 'walking the circumference' signifies
2. You factor in the one-way nature from start to finish

I'd be lying if I said I too didn't wish for eternally harmonious sequences and an effortless flow of logic into manifested reality. But I also did a lot of bad and stupid shit in my past.

Temptations of romanticizing hindsight aside, it can be a very fruitful teacher if you happen to piece yourself back together. It makes evident the influences of what Tim Urban dubs the "Primitive Mind," more prescient.
Helps you realize the momentary limits of logic. Syncs your gut with your thinking. And illuminates the disparity in one's behavior and speech about said behavior.

People also like to paint 'Life' in the skin of a marathon. And in this manner, I equate calendar years to a hybrid of basketball quarters, rounds in a fight, and a marathon.

My discography is on Ethereum, Mainnet and multiple L2s. But in my own experiences globally, I can see the appeal of Sol's memetics and cost.
Add in the fact that ETH maxis are already going for their anti-SOL propaganda (when the token is -70% its ATH), they must feel threatened for some legitimate reason.

Based Management has been around for little over a quarter. It has done:
- invite only model while still using nouns builder
- found a way to use zora rewards as a way for entrants to "create in" instead of "buy in" to the dao
- created an onchain are.na/pinterest board that splits rewards to the creator and the dao treasury (mintboard)
- simplified the mint ui
- created an onchain suggestion box using comments by @fascinated
It has over $20,000 USD in its treasury, has hosted partnerships with TITLES, PartyDAO, Uplink, and UFO Club. And has dropped a song by world touring musician Reo Cragun.
We just wanted to make something "fun and emergent." Wild how quickly things can happen!

It was a modern version of a shootout. The lattices locked after 10 attempts and the antagonist supposedly lost access to 1.5 billion dollars.
Beyond the amusement it garnered. It reiterated that theory - forget who brought it to my attention - that 'insiders' are able to spot how surface level "mainstream" articles, assessments, and declarations usually are. And how that same pattern can be found in most trades, sectors, and niches across the board.
The lattice devices are locked but if the character has his seed phrase then he actually just got away scott-free from the DA. He can buy a new lattice and recover the wallet there.
Makes me wonder how many assumptions I've made in the other areas of my life, based on entertainment-depth theatrics meant to 'fill the gap'.

Base's L2 has an advantage in the common consumer's mindshare. And thanks to Coinbase, they have a layer of trust/familiarity outside of the space.
With Base now live, there's an operating layer that affords decentralized incentives while leveraging the brand's merit.
BASED. A play on words and possible fertile ground for aligning memetic primitives amongst the Millenials and Gen Z generations. (lil B the based god, based as a familiar term, crypto = based, etc)
This would be an attempt at what 0xgami called 'Hypercommons'.

Manifold did a drop with Optimism where you bought the NFT on L1 and received a small amount of ETH on your Optimism address.
This idea leverages both. A gift shop of NFTs that when purchased on L1 sends a portion of ETH to your L2 address. The bridge user gets an NFT and helps expand L2 adoption.
